In Memory of

Kevin Carroll

Kevin Carroll, 62, passed away peacefully January 17, 2025 after a 9-year battle with Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease.

Born on May 15th, 1962 in Brick, NJ, Kevin was the son of Jerry and Joan Carroll and the middle sibling to his four brothers, Jerry, Tommy, Denny, and John. He graduated from Brick High School Class of 1980 and married his high school sweetheart, Sharon, in 1983. Kevin and Sharon moved to Toms River shortly after to raise their two daughters, Kristina and Laura.

Kevin was a dedicated husband, father, and friend. He was married to Sharon for over 41 years at the time of his passing. Together, they enjoyed Disney and travelling with family and friends. Kevin loved boating, the beach, woodworking, photography, working on cars, and all things Christmas. He listened to Christmas music year-round and built an impressive Christmas Village for his family and friends to enjoy at their annual Christmas Party. Kevin was a thrill seeker, loved rollercoasters and obtained his Private Pilot’s License in 2006. He spent most of his career at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he retired as a Research and Development Director.

Kevin’s memories will live on in his family and friends and through Team Kevin each year at the Point Pleasant Walk. We thank everyone for donating to Alzheimer’s New Jersey in Kevin’s honor.

Dear Sharon, in the short time we've known each other I feel our interaction came at such a crossroads for you and Kevin. I am forever grateful for your efforts you provided to SC. All the while, you were dealing with doing the best for Kevin. I feel you chose the right path, and I admire how you juggled so much. Hopefully God's grace will help you to heal, and you know the best of Kevin will always be with you.
Peace

Kel Robinson - January 21, 2025

Kevin was always so welcoming when Kris would bring us up to visit from college. Such a great sense of humor and a wonderful example of being a proud “girl dad” long before that became a trendy term. Sending condolences to Sharon (Mama C), Kris, Laura and all the Carroll fam.
