Mary Theresa Morton

Mary Morton , 82 passed away in her sleep on Friday July 28, 2023. She was born on June 1, 1941 to Frank and Helen Venezio, and was the fourth child born to them, with two older brothers, one older sister and two younger sisters. She was married to Robert Morton, and had four sons whom she affectionately referred to as “My Four Sons”. William Boyle, Frank Boyle, Robert Boyle and Scott Morton She loved spending time with her children whether at their sporting event games or The Oceangate house, playing card games. She welcomed her four daughter in laws, Jean Marie Boyle, Cosena Boyle, Carla Boyle and Holly Morton into her fold and eagerly awaited the grand children that would follow. Amanda Boyle, Courtney Boyle, Kristen Boyle, Connor Boyle, Austin Boyle, Nicholas Boyle, Ryan Boyle, Christopher Boyle, Cameron Boyle and Breanna Morton. She babysat them, watched the planes overhead as they rode their Big Wheels in the driveway, attended their sporting events, held grandma /cousin time events which they loved especially the Christmas night sleepovers and taught them that family comes first. They now hold their own Cousin nights. Holidays were often at her home, where all were welcome. There was always room at her table. She fostered a closeness amongst her sons and her grandchildren that remains strong. She will be dearly missed.
